About Ava
Hi! I’m Ava Morgan, and I’m excited to help students discover the fascinating ideas hidden inside Physics! Along with my Mathematics education at New York University, I completed extensive Physics coursework and quantitative science training!
I have 8 years of one-to-one tutoring experience, helping K-12 learners understand Physics and develop stronger scientific reasoning!
My interest in Physics grew from enjoying questions about motion, energy, space, and the way mathematical ideas describe the physical world. At university, I participated in science education activities where I helped younger learners understand basic scientific principles through demonstrations!
I especially enjoy encouraging students who initially feel that Physics is “too difficult.” With the right explanation and enough practice, I believe almost every learner can make meaningful progress!

Welcome to my Physics lesson! My goal is to create a motivating one-to-one learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making predictions, and trying difficult problems!
For younger K-5 learners, I introduce force, motion, gravity, energy, sound, light, and simple machines through familiar examples such as bicycles, balls, playground equipment, toys, and vehicles!
Middle school students can build stronger foundations in speed, acceleration, forces, energy, heat, waves, electricity, and magnetism! I use diagrams and everyday observations before introducing more challenging calculations!
High school learners can explore mechanics, Newton's laws, momentum, work and power, circular motion, electricity, circuits, magnetism, optics, thermodynamics, and introductory modern Physics!
Students interested in space can also explore beginner-friendly Astrophysics topics such as gravity, planetary movement, stars, and the relationship between mass and motion! For advanced learners, I can introduce selected concepts from Quantum Physics in a simple and age-appropriate way!
I teach students how to approach a Physics problem instead of immediately searching for a formula! We identify what is happening, draw a useful diagram, choose the correct principle, calculate carefully, and then check the answer!
I also provide homework help, assignment guidance, personalized exam preparation, practice problems, and progress reviews! I use short challenges throughout the lesson to keep students actively involved rather than listening passively!
