About Cecilia
My name is Cecilia, when I was 19 I moved to London where I did a bachelor's degree in Psychology and a Masters in Clinical Psychology. During my university career, I held the role of Success Coach, or rather I tutored the younger students at my university, helping them with their exams. Therefore, I already have experience in the field and I know how to effectively help my students so that they can achieve their goals.
Throughout my university experience, I have developed a "British" approach to teaching and I know what parameters and standards are required, so I also offer my service to university students or students who are preparing to face IELTS and enrollment in an English university.

The method of teaching and the type of lesson vary according to the needs of the student. During the first lesson, I usually discuss needs and objectives with the student, in order to design a tailor-made program that can make the student obtain the best results in the shortest time possible.
The teaching method will depend on the starting level of the student, for example if you start from a basic level the first part of the lesson will be focused on strengthening the grammar and expanding the vocabulary, while if the fundamentals of the language are already consolidated, you can immediately start with more complicated topics and activities , such as translations and text composition.
Usually, except for the initial phases, lessons will be held purely in English.
In the case of homework help for middle or high school students, the lesson will take place with an initial chat to outline what are the problems that the student encounters, and then we proceed with the explanation and supervised execution of the tasks, trying to devote the final 10 minutes of the lesson to practice conversation.
In case you ask for my help for the IELTS exam, the lessons will be focused on developing the best techniques to pass the examination, and simulation of the various tasks.
