About Claire
Hello! Thank you for looking at my profile. I am a passionate and supportive teacher with 15 years of experience across primary classes, intervention teaching, SEN, one to one tutoring and 7+/11+ exam preparation. Having also been a KS2 Phase Leader I have extensive experience on SATs.

My experience allows me to teach across a range of subjects and requirements for children in KS1 and KS2. My approach is personalised and I will ensure that my lessons are conducted to get the best response from your child and that they are comfortable and happy during lessons.
My tutoring will allow your child to have a tailored one to one tutorial and home learning materials. I keep in contact with parents via regular messaging to ensure you are aware of progress and developments. As a parent myself I also appreciate the pressures of family life and am always on hand to help with any curricular questions or changes to times/dates if I can.

Claire has been my daughters BTF!! Best Teacher Ever! We can't thank Claire enough for the confidence and success that she has helped our child to achieve. We were sceptical about online learning and classrooms but after K's first lesson we knew it was the right decision. K has come on leaps and bounds in the last year and has improved by two levels. She looks forward to her weekly lesson and I feel that the change of scenery and being online actually helps her focus. We receive weekly homework and a monthly overview of what K will be learning.
Claire tutored my son for over 3 years and we were always extremely happy with her work. She is punctual, professional and Jasper loved their lessons which were exciting and well planned for his needs. We switched to online sessions over the pandemic but this did not affect his progress and Claire still helped to ensure he got his school place by passing his 11 plus exam.
