About Joy
Hello, I am an English, ESL, Speech and Writing teacher. I have taught English to adult students for seven years. College students, business students, and professionals alike find my classes and individual sessions to be rewarding and enjoyable. My background is in English, Communication, and Education, and I have two master's degrees. We will work together to create a learning plan that suits your needs and helps you to progress quickly towards your goals.

My teaching method is based on the cooperative learning model. When I teach new information, I give my students the opportunity to read, think and evaluate materials such as videos, articles and other readings. They respond to new material by discussing the topic, taking a quiz, playing a game, or writing a short paragraph. I always give my students feedback on their speech so others can understand them and appreciate the value of their ideas.
