About Dani
I have taught creative writing and literature at undergraduate level at UEA.
I spent two years working for 'First Class Learning', helping students aged 4-16 work through the English curriculum at their own speed. I have been a part-time private tutor for the past decade, working with GCSE and A Level students to improve their English Language, English Literature and History Grades.
I have helped an adult learner pass her "Life in the UK Citizen test". Before signing up with me she had failed 7 times, and she passed after only two weeks of daily lessons from me!
All my GCSE and A Level students improved their grades after tuition - the most significant improvement being a GCSE English student who jumped from a "D" to an "A" grade after only a few months. This improvement was due to the student having an innate ability but very low confidence.
I find it very rewarding watching my students learn and improve.

I gear the content of my lessons towards the individual student. I am have experience working with SEN and gifted and talents. I provide my students with detailed and constructive feedback on their assignments as well as face-to-face learning time, as I believe this is one of the best ways to learn and improve.
