About Laura
I am a PHD Student in my final year studying special educations needs and specialising in the needs of children on Autism spectrum. I am also the mother of an autistic child so have a great understanding both professionally and personally of this area. I have been tutoring and coaching children for the past 4 years in primary education both to support them with educational needs and with confidence in their abilities which have been affected by their lack of speech, ability to process information at the speed needed or attention issues.
I also offer support and coaching to parents on how to help your child at home in these areas.

Coaching and support is based on the individual need of the child. Information gathered pre session will allow me to put a plan in place based on current need. I believe in student-centered teaching so my role is to coach and facilitate the child's learning through interaction and instruction.
