About Annabel
Although I am only 17 years old, I have done small group work as well as private volunteer tutoring for three years as well as ran afterschool STEM and cooking clubs for children ages 5-9. I also co-taught swimming lessons to a group of 10 kids and have even prepared and taught a few math and writing lessons to an entire second grade class at my school as well as helped with testing assistance for kids with dyslexia and other learning support needs. The children I have had the blessing of tutoring have loved coming to my sessions/class even if school is not something they usually look forward to and managed to grasp difficult topics. I am British but have lived in Kenya for 6 years! I go to a private christian international school (Rosslyn Academy) in Nairobi and have a 4.0 GPA. I love kids and have experience teaching them especially in math and literacy and I plan to become a teacher in a couple of years!

I am very organized and creative in a classroom and tutoring setting. I love to bring as much hands-on learning as possible and I try to approach each topic in different ways according to how a particular student learns best. I will help with homework and helping a student find ways to keep up with his/her work in a manageable and easy way. I will also tackle new subjects/ topics or remediate ones that weren't quite grasped.
