I’m a fully qualified English teacher with many years of experience. I currently work for a well known organisation dedicated to promoting creative approaches to English. I’m a fully qualified English teacher, with an Oxford undergraduate degree and an MA in Contemporary Literature. I specialise in all areas of secondary English and have a particular interest in the 11-14 curriculum.
My lessons aim to get the balance between creativity and control, so crucial to effective writing and reading, just right. I guide students in producing crafted, imaginative and original writing and provide them with inspirational literature to develop their reading. Lessons last for one hour and can be delivered in-person in North London or online.
I can focus on exam qualifications but would rather work on helping students become better at English in general. Do that and exam success will follow!
