About Nina
Hi! I'm Nina and I'm a Classical Archaeology and Ancient History graduate who tutors English Lit. and Lang., History, and Classical Civilisation because I loved these subjects at school. I was scared for the jump between GCSEs and A Levels, but I found studying the subjects I loved made the transition smooth. I was fortunate to have an inspiring group of teachers whose passion fuelled their teaching, which made concentrating and revising much easier and more enjoyable.
As the first in my family to go to university, I find helping students with university applications (particularly for Oxford and Cambridge) incredibly rewarding. Often an intimidating time, I enjoy putting people at ease and trying to make the process as simple and accessible as possible - no matter your background. I received full marks in my Oxford interview and I am confident in my ability to help others do the same. My degree allows me to help applicants in many subjects such as Classical Archaeology and Ancient History, Classics, History, Archaeology and Anthropology, English Literature, and Ancient and Modern History.

I have experience in tutoring students from the ages of 3 to 18. Having worked as an au pair teaching English in Italy, to online History tuition and Oxbridge interview prep, I have a broad range of experience in adapting the lesson to the student.
I am confident that my communication style and varied techniques will get you or your child the results you want, and I will work alongside you to achieve that. I have experience with students on the autistic spectrum and understand not every learner is the same.
I have helped students secure places in Oxford and Cambridge, and with my GCSE and A Level students I have been able to help them achieve their desired grades.

Details
My hourly rate for online GCSE and A Level tutoring is £25, in-person lessons will be £45.
Oxbridge application interview prep will be conducted online to simulate the actual experience, my hourly rate is £50. For personal statement and written work help and feedback my hourly rate is £40.
