About Meg
Hi! I'm Meg, Oxford PPE graduate and current PDGL student. As a tutor, I want my sessions to be as engaging as possible, with a lot of discussion and focus on building key skills and confidence. My main interest in PPE lay in policy, on both the economic and political fronts. I also really enjoyed philosophy, especially jurisprudence and theories of justice. Outside of studying, I enjoy reading, trying new restaurants and going to the gym.

My approach to tutoring is tailored and supportive, working with each student's specific needs and interests to create engaging sessions. It's important to me that students feel comfortable asking questions and I aim to build academic confidence, whether it be in public speaking, working under time pressure or essay writing. I offer both one-off and long-term tutoring, helping students build confidence last minute before interviews or get ahead months before. Typically, sessions are each one hour long but I am happy to hold shorter (min. 30 minutes) or longer sessions if desired. I have now tutored for over 3 years, working with ages 10-19 across SATS, GCSEs, A-levels and university applications. I hold a PPE degree from Balliol College, Oxford and am currently studying for a law conversion as part of a training contract.
