English

My teaching style is friendly, supportive and interactive. I begin by establishing clear goals with each student, ensuring every lesson brings them one step closer to achieving their desired results. With six years of tutoring experience and a strong track record of helping students succeed, I understand that everyone learns differently. I tailor each one-hour lesson to suit the individual, using a variety of resources, including videos, worksheets, discussions and engaging activities. I focus on ensuring students thoroughly understand each topic, from Shakespeare to language analysis, rather than simply memorising information. At the end of every lesson, I include a plenary to reinforce learning and ensure knowledge is embedded. Most importantly, I build a positive rapport with my students, creating a comfortable environment where they feel confident asking questions, making mistakes and learning at their own pace.
