About Laya
I attend a school centered on classic literature and the humanities, where I have studied some of the greatest works ever written. My reading experience includes Jane Eyre, Frankenstein, The Divine Comedy, The Picture of Dorian Gray, Uncle Tom’s Cabin, The Narrative of Frederick Douglass, Macbeth, John Adams, Democracy in America, The Scarlet Letter, Plato’s Republic, Aristotle’s Nicomachean Ethics, Man’s Search for Meaning, A Christmas Carol, Hamlet, and Of Mice and Men. I have also written a 15-page thesis, refining my ability to analyze texts deeply and communicate ideas effectively. My background in literature allows me to help students not just read but truly engage with stories, fostering a lifelong love of learning.
