About Carly

I’m a Mathematics major at the University of Pennsylvania with a strong passion for helping students understand and enjoy math. I believe every student can succeed with the right guidance, patience, and encouragement. As someone who once struggled with this subject, I am excited by the opportunity to help students through this, overcome challenges, and discover that math can actually be rewarding—and even fun. I have experience in tutoring in many other subjects including English, Spanish and more, making me well-equipped to work with students!

About the lesson

I believe math becomes easier when it’s explained clearly and connected to real-life examples. In my lessons, I focus on step-by-step reasoning, breaking down complex problems into simple ideas. Each session is personalized to fit the student’s pace and goals, building confidence and long-term understanding. I'm happy to review materials before in order to be the most beneficial tutor I can be!
