About Gavin
Music has always been my passion, and sharing that passion through teaching has been my greatest achievement over the last 12 years. I teach flute to school and college students in a supportive and encouraging environment where every learner feels welcome.
My lessons include breathing techniques, posture correction, finger movement, rhythm, scales, articulation, tone quality, and expressive playing. I believe every challenge is an opportunity to learn and improve. Seeing students perform proudly after dedicated practice is one of the most rewarding parts of my profession.
Along with flute, I teach music theory, sight reading, ear training, rhythm practice, music appreciation, and beginner composition. My goal is to inspire confidence, creativity, and a lifelong appreciation for music.

My aim is to help students discover the joy of music while developing strong flute-playing skills. My teaching methodology is based on Motivation, Communication, Integrity, and Creativity to create engaging and rewarding lessons.
Students build confidence through breathing exercises, posture correction, note reading, rhythm, finger coordination, and tone production. Advanced students continue with scales, articulation, dynamics, expression, improvisation, and performance techniques.
Motivation keeps students excited about learning. Communication helps every concept become clear through demonstrations and practical examples. Integrity creates a positive learning environment where every student feels respected.
Creative lesson activities include rhythm games, favorite songs, duet playing, ear training, listening practice, music appreciation, and stage preparation. Besides flute, I also teach recorder, beginner keyboard, music theory, sight reading, rhythm development, and performance coaching.
