About Sandy
I am a PhD researcher in Dance at Middlesex University, London, with a background in screendance, dance film, choreography and arts education. My work focuses on the relationship between dance, camera, movement and creative expression. I have experience in dance teaching, academic research and artistic practice, and I enjoy supporting students to develop their confidence, creativity and understanding of dance.

I can support students who are interested in dance studies, choreography, dance film, creative movement, Chinese dance culture, and academic or portfolio preparation. Lessons can include discussion, movement exploration, video analysis, creative tasks, and guidance on how to express artistic ideas clearly. I adapt each lesson to the student’s level, interests and goals.
