About David
I am an image-maker, researcher and educator from Ireland. I teach photography, visual culture and philosophy. I hold a practice-led Masters by Research from the Institute of Art, Design and Technology (IADT) Dún Laoghaire. My research and teaching interests include photography, human geography (in particular urban space), visual culture, and philosophy of technology. I am currently a PhD candidate in Interdisciplinary Environmental Sciences researching the relationship between digital visualising technologies and urban space.

My teaching method is very much tailored to suit students' needs. I like to get to know my students and their expectations in order to accommodate their particular learning requirements. I take a practical approach to teaching always providing clear examples where it assists students in learning. I have taught in universities both Ireland and Finland. My lessons are aimed at both vocational and university level students.
