About Jeremy
Currently a PhD student at the University of Montreal in the Department of Computer Science and Operations Research (DIRO), I was a maths teacher in a Parisian high school for 2 years. I taught Seconde, Terminale and BTS classes, the Quebec equivalents of which are Secondaire 4, CEGEP and DEC. I also gave Kholles in preparatory classes for the Grandes Écoles entrance examinations to help students prepare for their oral exams.
To become a math teacher, after obtaining an engineering degree from the National School of Aviation (Toulouse , France) I passed a math exam where only 304 participants were accepted out of 1841.
Eager to deepen my math knowledge and learn more, I left my math teaching position to start the PhD I am currently undertaking.

For secondary school pupils, I help with homework, understand lessons in depth, and provide additional material to address the identified issues.
For undergraduates students, I work on improving math intuition and overall understanding to better grasp math concepts, notions and tools. I work on mathematical reasoning and understanding proofs to help students feel comfortable when tackling math problems.
