About Raymond
Hi, I'm Raymond! I graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor's degree in Mathematics from the University of Florida. I am currently pursuing a PhD in Engineering. I love puzzles and see math problems as big puzzles to tackle. The upside for math is that there is often an even deeper and more elusive puzzle to tackle once you break through the surface, and I love figuring that out!

My teaching style emphasizes understanding first.
First, we try to figure out the intuition: an understanding of the fundamentals of the problem ahead of you. Then, we try to motivate the solution from that understanding. Only after you are satisfied that you have gained a new insight into the problem do we start to decide on methods of solving it.
Having taken mathematics classes up through the graduate level, I have a wealth of insight that can help you better solve math problems and give you a new perspective.
