About Romain
I hold an engineering masters (ENSAM, France) as well as a doctorate in Mechanical Engineering (GeorgiaTech, Atlanta, USA) which provided me with a solid foundation in scientific fields (Mathematics , Physics) as well as a taste and experience in teaching (in university as well as in private lessons). Research in the field of acoustics (a branch of mechanical engineering focused on dynamics) is my main activity and provides me with the skills to provide academic support at the level of higher education.
Even if french is my mother tongue, I am bilingual in English as I have spent the last five years in Atlanta.
I have previously offered private lessons in scientific fields to multiple students that have always appreciated the level of preparation and the patience that I offer in my courses.

I offer high school / college level courses in mechanical engineering with the aim of solidifying the bases seen in class and if necessary to prepare for specific tests. The lessons are done by webcam and depend on the objective of the student:
- in the case of a student encountering difficulties, priority will be given to the comprehension and if necessary to the reformulation of the course. In a second step, the problems which could be given during tests will be treated.
- in the case of a student preparing for a competition, priority will be given to the study of the exam records when the course is well mastered.
I always take great pride in preparing well my lessons and will always do my best to dedicate enough time to explain the scientific topics with simple concepts.
