About Izzy
I have a background in Earth Science with a MSc (distinction) and BSc (first class honours) from Cardiff University. Currently a first year PhD student at Bath University reading Geotechnical Engineering and researching landslides. I have also worked in STEM outreach since 2020 as an ambassador alongside my studies working schools and companies to encourage students to study science at university - this has previously included tutoring. I’ve travelled across the country visiting Schools, running workshops, bejng a pannellist judge and Q&A sessions.

Led by your learning style I adapt each tutees program to what works for you - questions focused, discussion based, theory heavy. Also open to shifting after a few lessons if you don’t feel it’s working. The goal of tutoring is for you to end up better to tackle the subject in question so i will do whatever it takes to help including repeating lessons and having multiple sessions on the same theory if its challenging.
