PhD student vast experience teaching, marking & proofreading - History tutor with David

I was fortunate enough to observe David teaching Foundation Year students at the University of Nottingham.

I was impressed with David's ability to relate to different types of students and their varying educational needs. He is particularly effective when supporting students who benefit from the boost in self-confidence david provides. Equally, David is able to challenge high-performing students to achieve to their fullest potential.

Perhaps David's particular skill is coaching students in essay technique, for both term papers and exams. David helps students critique historiography, develop their own cogent arguments and present them in a persuasive format.

David is an excellent teacher. He has very good knowledge of multiple subject areas, is dedicated to his pupils, and is extremely reliable.
