About Danilo

I hold a Master's degree in Philosophy from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS) and a Ph.D. in Philosophy from the University of California, Davis (UC Davis). I have also taught at the University of California, the Federal University of Bahia, the Federal University of Santa Maria, and the Federal University of Pernambuco. You can check out some of my publications on this website: (concealed information)

About the lesson

In my classes, I employ a dynamic and engaging teaching approach that combines traditional lectures, thought-provoking exercises, and challenging logical puzzles. I firmly believe that philosophy is not an isolated discipline but rather a vital link between various other sciences and real-world problems. As such, my teaching philosophy revolves around exploring the intricate interplay between philosophy and other scientific disciplines, bridging the gap between theory and practical applications.

I highly recommend Danilo as a logic teacher based on my experience with him during college. He taught both Logic I and II, demonstrating an exceptional ability to convey complex concepts with accessible teaching methods. Thanks to his engaging and clear explanations, I not only overcame my initial prejudice and fear towards logic but also developed a genuine appreciation for the subject. Danilo's teaching style fosters understanding and makes learning a challenging topic like logic an enjoyable experience. :)
