Super tutor

Cecilia is one of our best General knowledge tutors. High-quality profile, verified qualifications, a quick response time, and great reviews from students!

About Cecilia

I am a Criminology and philosophy BA graduate who has a great passion for philosophy. I would like to help people appreciate philosophy more, or even just help them understand their readings and/or give advice for philosophical writing. I have experience teaching undergraduate students and college students for both philosophy and sociology.

About the lesson

My method is mostly based on the level and the preferences of my students. It is possible to structure the philosophy lessons in different ways depending on the personal and academic goals of the student in question. If we do it more your way, you'll probably learn faster!

Review

All of our reviews are collected by us and are 100% reliable. They correspond to a real experience had by the students of Cecilia.

Perfect! Cecilia is very clear on the subjects she tutors on. In my opinion, she is very familiar with the concepts and structures of a University essay so she doesn't need time to think of a right answer or the right way to do things. On top of it she is very on-time and very very friendly. Lucky to have her as my tutor!

Andrew is a very polite student and a strong communicator. It is delightful to work with him as he is open to suggestions while carrying out his own ideas.

Cecilia is skilled at tutoring English learners as she is always ready to listen to what the students have to say. I can say she works really well with kids (she has tutored two of my daughters, 6 and 8) but her teaching is suitable for people of all levels and backgrounds who are ready to learn and improve.

Cecilia tutored me when I was in need of help during highschool, we were classmates. One thing that made her different from other tutors I had tried was that she actually listened to my questions when I was in trouble and instead of simply giving me a few exercises to do, she always tried to lead me to the solution and helped me with my reasoning. She's very passionate, prepared and has a definite study structure: I struggle with ADHD, but her lessons kept me engaged all the time.
I highly recommend her, especially if you struggle with focusing.
