About Jorren

I am a graduate student in the Department of Philosophy at the University of St Andrews, the highest-ranked philosophy department in Scotland. My work has been published in Analysis, one of the top peer-reviewed philosophy journals in the world. I am working on a thesis in epistemology.

About the lesson

1000+ hours in-person and face-to-face have taught me to approach each client as if they were my first, providing targeted coaching in areas of weakness, to be identified by the client in the first instance, and generous feedback on papers/essays. As a published academic, I have first-hand experience of the "revise & resubmit" process: I am always happy to offer "do's" and "don't's" on that front, and help polish work. Philosophy and critical thinking are my passions: I am almost always happy to read material between sessions and provide feedback on assignments. And, of course always available over email! I am laid-back by nature and focused. I look forward to hearing from you! :)
