About Joe
I have undergraduate and masters degrees in Philosophy. I also studied world religions. I enjoy thinking through deep questions about reality and the human condition. I feel privileged that I get to guide young people through their initial thoughts on such important topics.
I achieve a good balance between bringing out the fun and interesting side of the curriculum while also keeping focused on the precise requirements for achieving high grades in exams.
I am very good at explaining exactly how to write an essay which picks up as many marks as possible. A level essay writing is a skill in itself which can be broken down into succinct elements.
I have tutored As and A2 students in AQA, EDEXCEL, OCR and WJEC exam boards.
I have tutored both Philosophy & Religious studies A Level for 4 years.
