About Lauren
Hello!! I am a Philosophy Undergraduate at Cardiff University. After achieving three A*s at A-Level and earning a University Scholarship, I have many study skills and a love for studying that I am keen to share. Not only can I offer excellent knowledge and skills to students but also positive, friendly support to guide you through your academic journey, wherever you are right now.
I have tutored my siblings and often produced study material to help my friends, always being told that my support clarified tasks and opened up new ways of thinking. With additional experience in running a mental health peer support group I am passionate about supporting you to manage your stress and keep well through your studies through working together to create study plans that ensure all tasks are complete and that you schedule time for yourself.

My tutoring style is informal and upbeat, helping you to grow your academic skills whilst learning to love your studies. Sessions will be built around your favourite styles of learning and the syllabus of the subject, making sure we tick all the boxes needed for those top grades! I like to use multiple mediums to keep things interesting including mind maps, essays, discussions and flashcards. I am happy to help create plans to create a routine that you are confident and calm in. A happy student is a successful one!
