I believe in using different teaching methods to keep students engaged. In phonics, I will use differnt approaches such as games and different activities.
I will start my lesson plans by assesing the student's level and needs. I will then introduce the topic and the relevance of it. I will then break the skill into steps using manipulatives and visuals to engage the student and ensure they have a deep understanding of what is being taught. The the students will practice and demonstrate their knowledge through games, activities and hands on worksheets. As the lesson comes to a close I will reassess and ensure that the student has a deep understanding of the topic or skill.

My experience in both elementary and special education settings allows me to adapt my approach to meet the diverse needs of students. I understand the importance of patience, empathy, and flexibility when working with students with special needs, and I strive to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
My lessons are primarily for elementary and special education students who may need additional support in areas such as phonics, reading, and language skills. Whether a student is struggling with a specific concept or simply looking to strengthen their foundational skills, I tailor my lessons to meet their individual needs and help them achieve their learning goals.
