About Gavin
My fascination with Physics started from a desire to understand the laws that govern nature. I completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Physics before earning a PhD in Physics. Over the last 11 years, I have helped students strengthen their scientific understanding and academic performance.
I believe that strong teaching combines knowledge, patience, and adaptability. Every learner approaches Physics differently, so I tailor lessons to suit individual needs and goals. Building confidence is always an important part of my teaching philosophy.
Outside teaching, I enjoy following developments in astronomy, technology, and scientific research. These interests allow me to connect classroom topics to real-world discoveries. Helping students gain confidence in Physics continues to inspire my work.

My Physics lessons focus on helping students understand the principles that explain how the world works. Topics include mechanics, electricity, magnetism, waves, thermodynamics, and modern physics. I use simple explanations and practical examples to make complex ideas more approachable.
Each lesson combines conceptual learning with guided problem-solving activities. Students practise applying formulae, interpreting scientific information, and developing analytical skills. Lessons are adjusted to suit individual learning styles and academic objectives.
I aim to create a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable exploring scientific ideas. As their understanding improves, they become more confident when solving challenging questions. My goal is to make Physics an engaging and rewarding subject for every learner.
