I’m committed to helping students to experience the joy of playing the piano and violin.
I believe that while studying piano and violin, you will develop your own repertoire of music you can play, learn music and theory and techniques, and even learn some music history in the process.
I know that when you apply yourself to study the piano or violin, you will find it rewarding and enjoyable!
My name is Carmen Lui and I am currently attending the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music and was awarded the Albert and Marie Diamant Scholarship upon acceptance. I also recently graduated studying violin and piano at the Victorian College of the Arts Secondary School. I have completed my Certificate of Performance exam with a high distinction, received my Diploma of Associate in Music (AMusA) and successfully competed in several competitions. I have performed in Vision Australia’s Carols by Candlelight and have played in many major concert venues such as the Sidney Myer Music Bowl and the Melbourne Recital Centre, as well as working alongside professional ensembles such as the Australian Brandenburg Orchestra and Ludovico’s Band. I have been teaching for a couple of years now and I am committed to helping students between the ages of 3-18 to experience the joy of playing the violin and piano.
I have been teaching for a couple of years now and I am looking for new beginner and intermediate students who are willing to learn the violin or piano.
