About Lora
I earned a Master’s Degree in Piano Performance and Music Education, where I specialised in classical interpretation, teaching methodology, and performance development. Over the past 9 years, I have trained students across beginner to advanced levels, helping them prepare for exams, concerts, and competitive performances.
My teaching approach is structured, patient, and highly adaptive. I design lessons based on each student’s individual strengths, challenges, and learning pace, ensuring steady progress while maintaining motivation and enjoyment throughout the learning process.
Beyond teaching, I continue to engage in piano performance, musical research, and advanced pedagogy studies. I constantly refine my teaching methods by exploring modern approaches to performance psychology and music learning. One of the most rewarding aspects of my journey is seeing students evolve from basic note learners into expressive musicians capable of interpreting complex compositions with emotional depth and technical control. Watching learners gain confidence in stage performance, develop sensitivity in tone and dynamics, and eventually perform with artistic independence is deeply fulfilling and remains the strongest inspiration behind my work as an educator.

My piano lessons are designed to help students build strong technical foundations while developing expressive musical understanding and performance confidence through structured, step-by-step learning. I focus on hand coordination, finger independence, rhythm accuracy, dynamic control, sight-reading, and phrasing so students can play with both precision and emotion. Each lesson blends technical drills with real musical pieces so students can immediately apply what they learn in meaningful performance contexts.
Beginners start with posture, keyboard familiarity, basic scales, simple melodies, and rhythm exercises that build control and confidence gradually. Intermediate learners work on improving coordination between both hands, expressive dynamics, smoother transitions, and sight-reading skills. Advanced students focus on complex repertoire, interpretative depth, stylistic refinement, and stage-ready performance preparation.
I also guide students in developing disciplined and efficient practice routines that help them learn independently outside lessons. This ensures steady improvement and long-term musical growth through structured yet enjoyable practice habits.
