About Olivia

Music is the most significant part of my life and I would love to be able to share my passion for piano with others and encourage them to grow the same love for it as I have! I have passed my AMEB Grade 8 practical exam with Honors and continue to study and aim to achieve my Certificate of Performance, aspiring towards my Licentiate Diploma.

I have just moved to the Blue Mountains from Wollongong and sadly, had to leave my students behind. So I am looking for new students to take on!

I am currently studying a Bachelor of Science majoring in Applied Physics and (other than piano teaching) work full time as a catastrophe modeling consultant for an actuarial firm. I also love gardening (indoor and out), all things nature, attending live music gigs and playing with my band.

About the lesson

I offer 30 minute or 1 hour lessons, single or multiple lessons per week, and will travel to your house! Perfect for busy parents, people with limited access to transportation, or anyone looking for a little more convenience.

I accept students of all learning styles, ages and experience levels, and teach any approach - whether that be playing for a hobby or intending to get qualifications.

I have 18 years experience playing and performing piano and over 5 years experience teaching. I've only ever received positive feedback from students and parents, and have taken many students through AMEB exams with a minimum grade of B+.

I highly recommend Olivia for piano tutoring.
My son had classical piano lessons with Olivia for a year, in that time I found Olivia to be very professional, polite, patient & very knowledgeable when teaching sheet music.

Olivia has been a great role model over the last couple of years for my two daughters. She is a great piano tutor, patient, well organised, friendly and motivating. She made learning fun and was a great communicator in terms of lesson scheduling. We will miss her!
