About Kira
I completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Piano Performance and Harmony Studies after years of focused learning in instrumental interpretation, composition, and performance techniques during my academic journey. Over the past 5 years, I have worked with students from different backgrounds and skill levels, helping them improve through personalised instruction and supportive mentorship. Teaching piano allows me to combine creativity, communication, and artistic expression in a rewarding and meaningful way. I enjoy helping learners become more confident musicians through practical and engaging lessons.
My teaching approach focuses on adaptability, patience, and balanced musical growth. Some students improve best through technical repetition and structured exercises, while others respond more naturally to improvisation and creative exploration. I carefully adjust lessons according to each learner’s confidence level, comfort, and artistic goals. Along with technical development, I help students strengthen listening ability, rhythm awareness, expressive playing, and performance confidence. Creating a welcoming and supportive learning atmosphere remains one of my highest priorities as a teacher.
Outside teaching, I continue practising piano, exploring different musical styles, and studying educational methods that help keep lessons motivating and inspiring. Music remains an important source of creativity and emotional expression in my life. One of the most rewarding parts of teaching is seeing students become more expressive and self-assured throughout their musical journey.

My piano lessons are designed to help students improve technical control while developing creativity and expressive playing through supportive and engaging learning sessions. I teach note reading, rhythm accuracy, hand coordination, finger independence, dynamic balance, and phrasing using practical exercises that feel approachable for learners at every stage. Lessons also include improvisation practice, ear training, sight-reading exercises, timing activities, and duet work that help students improve steadily through consistent practice. I create a relaxed and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable exploring music while strengthening important technical habits. Every lesson supports both musical development and artistic individuality together.
Beginners focus on keyboard awareness, scales, posture, and simple melodies through organised routines and patient instruction that build healthy playing habits gradually. Intermediate learners improve smoother transitions, coordination between both hands, expressive timing, and rhythmic consistency through guided exercises and focused studies. Advanced students strengthen emotional interpretation, advanced repertoire, stage confidence, and performance preparation through detailed coaching sessions. I carefully adapt lessons according to each learner’s pace, personality, and musical goals so progress remains balanced and motivating throughout the learning journey.
Learning piano should feel meaningful, rewarding, and enjoyable. I encourage students to appreciate gradual progress while building confidence through supportive feedback and regular practice. Many learners become more expressive and independent as their musical understanding continues growing naturally over time. My goal is to help students strengthen both technical skill and artistic confidence while building a lasting connection with music.
