About Ophelia
My interest in piano began through early music education and a fascination with harmony and musical storytelling. I completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Music before earning a Master’s Degree in Collaborative Piano Studies. Over the last 8 years, I have helped students strengthen musical confidence through supportive teaching and structured learning methods.
I believe every learner improves differently, so I adapt lessons according to musical goals, confidence level, and learning style. Some students respond well to technical repetition and exercises, while others improve faster through expressive interpretation and creative exploration. My teaching style combines patience, positivity, and balanced musical development.
Outside teaching, I enjoy accompanying vocal performances, arranging piano compositions, and studying classical and modern repertoire. Staying connected to music helps me bring fresh inspiration into lessons. Teaching piano is meaningful to me because I enjoy helping students express creativity and confidence through music.

My piano lessons are designed to help students build technical control while developing creativity and musical confidence through structured learning. I teach note reading, rhythm development, finger coordination, chord understanding, scales, dynamics, and expressive phrasing through practical exercises that make learning enjoyable and approachable. Lessons are supportive, interactive, and focused on steady progress.
Beginners strengthen their foundations through simple melodies, rhythm exercises, and coordination drills that gradually improve keyboard confidence and control. Intermediate learners work on timing accuracy, expressive interpretation, and accompaniment skills through guided repertoire and technical practice. Advanced students focus on artistic performance, advanced keyboard techniques, and polished musical delivery through detailed piano study sessions.
I encourage students to enjoy the learning process instead of becoming stressed by perfection or mistakes. Lessons support patience, confidence, and creativity while helping learners improve naturally. My goal is to help students become expressive, relaxed, and confident piano players.
