About Georgia

I am a postgraduate student, recently completing a Masters in Global History. With a diverse and broad interest in social, cultural and political history my modules at university have included protest and democracy, Modern American history, South East Asian Studies and much more. I have experience whilst working at university as a personal tutor to several A-Level and GCSE students, a lead mentor in local schools and I have also worked on many STEM and Social Science learning support days. In all of these roles I have provided support varying from specialist subject content tutoring to general study, revision, written and verbal ability skills. In all of these roles I received regular written and verbal feedback from school co-ordinators and students themselves that their grades and attitude to learning thanks to our creative and exciting sessions had improved, included one of my mentees resubmitting a piece of English work that went from a D to an A!

About the lesson

I am a hard-working tutor committed to helping your learning and support experience to be the best it can be. My primary aim is to work together step by step on the content for whichever subject you choose, but my fundamental aim is to also work together to find the best and most personal method of learning as efficiently but most importantly most effectively as possible so that are tutoring will hopefully have a sustained and positive impact on your work style.
