About Yesenia
My three years of medical school at Harvard laid the foundation for 2 years of dedicated tutoring experience. I scored in the 99th percentile on the MCAT, which gives me a clear grasp of how to teach IR and mass spectrometry, carbonyl chemistry, and NMR spectroscopy. IUPAC nomenclature and stereochemistry remain frequent hurdles for many, but I help clarify these complex areas.
Mastering carboxylic acids alongside SN1 and SN2 reactions is a central part of my teaching, and I find helping students conquer these topics deeply rewarding.
