About Miles
With 10 years of teaching and work experience, I am passionate about helping school and college students become confident trumpet players. I believe every student has unique strengths, and my role is to help them discover and develop those strengths through encouraging and well-structured lessons.
My lessons cover breathing control, posture, embouchure, articulation, rhythm, tone production, scales, music reading, ear training, music theory, and performance coaching. I explain concepts clearly, provide practical exercises, and encourage students to practice regularly so they continue making progress.
One of the most memorable milestones in my career has been seeing students grow from complete beginners into confident performers who enjoy sharing their music with others. Their achievements are the greatest motivation for my teaching.
I create a welcoming classroom where students feel comfortable asking questions, learning from mistakes, and celebrating every success. I believe confidence grows through patience, consistency, and positive encouragement.
Teaching is more than sharing knowledge—it is about inspiring students to enjoy learning, believe in themselves, and develop a lifelong passion for music. My goal is to support every learner as they achieve success both in music and in life.

My teaching methodology focuses on developing confident trumpet players through structured lessons and creative learning methods. I believe students learn best when they receive individual attention and encouragement. My lessons are designed to improve technique, musical understanding, and performance skills.
Motivation helps students stay dedicated to their musical journey. I encourage goal setting, regular practice, and a positive attitude toward learning.
Communication allows students to understand lessons clearly. I explain every topic in simple English, demonstrate techniques, and provide support whenever students need guidance.
Integrity is the foundation of my teaching. I provide honest advice, respect every student, and encourage responsibility and discipline.
Creativity makes lessons enjoyable and memorable. Students practice breathing control, tone development, rhythm exercises, improvisation, articulation, and performance techniques.
Besides trumpet, I also teach music theory, ear training, sight-reading, rhythm development, ensemble performance, beginner composition, and music appreciation. My goal is to help students become complete musicians with confidence.
