About Daniele

Hi! My name is Daniele, and I have been passionate about Politics and this subject's impact on our way of life for a long time. Now, I have chosen the study of Politics and International Relations at LSE, and could not be happier. A-level Politics has been a huge part of how I approached other subjects in sixth form and how I view them nowadays so it makes me excited to help others who want to share this passion and perhaps even pursuit it in the future :)

About the lesson

My students have described me as a direct but friendly teacher who helped them improve in a short amount of time leading up to their exams. I am always excited to give the needed nudge in the right direction to those who need my help!

Most sessions are 50 min or 1h, but if more time is needed please reach out :) Firstly, I would ask what the main focus they would like the lessons to be around (e.g. particular questions in an exam or how to structure creative writing tasks) and then make a plan for it made up of:

-getting the student's understanding of the topic or task
-explaining/revising the concepts involved in the task
-structuring a response from a real exam question
-giving a similar independent question to the student to complete by themselves, which I will correct immediately
-quick rundown and further revision resources on the topic/type of exam questions

I will also provide more independent work to be chacked in future sessions to further consolidate the knowledge and skillset needed to achieve the student's best possible result. I understand how stressful the time leading to A-levels is, and because of this the work assigned by me would not be long tasks (unless the student wants to feel challenged) but still as useful as can be!

But Daniele helped me enjoy the subject again, she was so nice and worked at the perfect pace. Daniele is absolutely lovely, I struggled a lot with learning English literature because I am an immigrant and I was new to the language but she was so patient with me. She made essay writing so much easier and I got in my favourite sixth form to study English because of her training with me for my entrance exam!! I would 100% recommend her as a tutor.
