About Thoker
Hey, I'm Atoof.
I completed my schooling this spring and will be attending university in fall 2024. I aim to go into academia and research and therefore I've taken a gap year to gain teaching experience. Don't worry, I'm not a newbie. Not entirely. I scored 100% in English in grades 10th, 11th and 12th and 99.78 percentile in CUET english. I've been the president of the Literacy Society at Presentation Convent and the Senior Student Editor of the Editorial Board. I volunteered as a content writer at a local NGO-ZOON in 11th grade and became the head of the content writing team in 12th grade. I've younger sisters and brothers (LOADS of them) and have been tutoring them in English for as long as I remember. Take a demo class and see if my teaching method works for you!

Look, in my years in school, the one consistent complaint my parents had with me was that I put in too much works towards comprehension. But that same thing is what my teachers acknowledged and appreciated in me (and what got me a 100% in english in all my board exams). I believe comprehension is key and hence comprehension is what my classes will be structured around. You understand prose? You'll nail it. You understand poetry? You'll nail it too. Grammar, punctuation, whatever it might be, as long as you understand it you'll do well in it.
