Hey, I'm Devon- I am a Proffessional Artist working in Queens NY with around 8 years of industry experience.
As a teacher and an artist I really believe in students learning foundational skills before going off to create their own work whatever that may be!
__________________________________________________________________
As an artist who spent a lot of time trying to get skills but ultimately getting nowhere because I did not have the proper guidance. I am fully committed to helping students improve in whatever they want to work on regardless of age or skill level!
Every student is different so it's hard to develop a one size fits all curriculum- we can chat about goals, medium, homework etc. during the 1hr free lesson
I try my best to teach universal skills that can be practiced on their own, and simple easy to understand rules that can be applied with great success.
Courses I offer:
-Academic Drawing (what I do best)
-Riley and Loomis Method
- Digital Art (Photoshop/Procreate/Illustrator)
-Traditional Oil and Acrylic Painting
-Linear Perspective for environment/asset design
- Artistic Anatomy
- Critique
-Portfolio Prep and Composition
