My name is Lukasz Moskal, I’m a professional drummer with 25 years of experience, playing with numerous bands on stages worldwide and recording over 40 albums. Concert stages and studios are my natural environment. Seeking new challenges, I recently moved from Poland to Brighton with my family—my wife is British—and I'm eager to share what I've learned with others. I believe I have a lot to offer, and there’s nothing more rewarding than helping others grow and witnessing the joy of playing music.
I chose the drums because I love music and the way rhythm draws me into a state of flow. For me, music has always been about connection, communication, and the shared experience of sound. Drumming is about the art of repetition, mastering rhythmic patterns until they feel effortless and expressive. When done well, drumming has the power to captivate and create moments of pure joy—like enjoying a piece of chocolate!
As a self-taught drummer, I relied on discipline and dedication to reach my goals. Now, I want to pass on my knowledge to help make your journey shorter and richer, so you can focus on the joy of playing the drums.

I tailor my lessons to each student's needs, covering all aspects of drumming. I believe learning should be fun, so my goal is to make time behind the kit enjoyable. With 25 years of performing experience at the highest level, I offer more than a typical lesson—it's a live, interactive experience. I'll answer your drumming and music questions and show you how to focus on what really matters.
My lessons emphasise groove, timing, and creating interesting rhythms that make musical sense and work in the music. I'll teach you how to work with a band, orchestrate your kit, and approach songs creatively. Whether it be a duo, small or large ensemble, I can show you how to cooperate in this environment. As a self-taught drummer with years of professional recording, touring, and session work, I understand the value of hands on guidance in this area.
Whether you're a beginner or looking to deepen your skills, I can help. I'll make playing drums engaging and exciting, from working with a metronome to adjusting the sound of your kit for creativity. My aim is to help you play music—not just beats—with confidence and style.
