About Marcello
I grew up listening to my older brother's music. As a child I immediately became fond of swearing in English. Then I started watching movies and cartoons in the original language. I still know some parts from Pulp Fiction by heart! At university I won a scholarship for the English language and I spent 3 months in London. After graduation I went back to London and spent a year doing internships and working in bars. After a brief experience in New York, I returned to Italy working at an American advertising agency with an international team.

My approach is simple. To speak English fluently you need to know the idioms. Movies and songs come to our aid. By learning the lyrics of the songs you get a list of examples for those times when you no longer remember the correct rule.
Example: Which one is correct? "Everybody is here" or "Everybody are here?" ; In other words, is "everybody" singular or plural? Easy! As the Blues Brothers song says "Everybody needs somebody", so Everybody is singular!
