About Aastha

Who Am I? I am a Psychology (Honours) graduate with practical experience working in hospital settings, as well as in guidance counselling and psychotherapy. Through my internships and teaching experience, I have developed a strong understanding of psychological concepts and how to apply them in real-life situations. I’m passionate about the field and enjoy helping others understand human behaviour, mental processes, and the science behind them. Why I Want to Teach Teaching psychology gives me the opportunity to share my knowledge and help students grow academically and personally. I believe learning becomes meaningful when concepts are explained clearly, connected to real-life examples, and taught with patience and understanding. I want to teach because I genuinely enjoy guiding students, simplifying difficult topics, and helping them build confidence in their abilities. My goal is to make psychology not just a subject you study, but a subject you enjoy—and one that helps you understand yourself and the world better.

About the lesson

With a strong academic foundation in Psychology (Honours) and hands-on experience in hospital settings, guidance counselling, and psychotherapy, I bring both theoretical expertise and practical insight to my teaching. I have taught students at various levels and understand how to simplify complex psychological concepts, making learning engaging, clear, and enjoyable. My background in real-world counselling work allows me to connect psychological theories with practical applications—helping students not just memorise, but truly understand and think like psychologists. Whether you need help with academic concepts, exam preparation, assignments, or developing a deeper understanding of human behaviour, I tailor my lessons to your individual learning style. Why choose me as your private tutor? ✓ Strong academic performance in Psychology (Hons) ✓ Experience teaching and mentoring students ✓ Practical exposure through hospital work and counselling internships ✓ Clear, student-friendly explanations ✓ Personalised learning plans and flexible pace ✓ Support in developing critical thinking and applied psychology skills If you’re looking for a dedicated, knowledgeable, and approachable psychology tutor who can help you excel academically and build confidence in the subject, I’d be happy to guide you.
