About Haley
Lifelong-learner. Recent grad and soon to be graduate student. I have a very extensive knowledge on topics involving psychological theory. For 2 years I have tailored people's resume's to the job they are looking for. In my former role as an ABA therapist I assisted student's in completing their homework. I feel very comfortable teaching students with special needs. I have tutored in subjects including: Math, Science, Reading and Literature.

It is very important to include a variety of multimedia resources. We cannot expect our student's to be interested in what we are teaching/tutoring if the material they are learning is not engaging. It is also very important for students to understand why they are doing the work. By explaining the purpose of each lesson, it helps to maintain the knowledge they are learning as well as leave room for opportunities to reflect on this knowledge at a later date. All of these concepts are so important in individualized learning. I take this approach whether I am tutoring or prepping a lesson and I have had much success. I look forward to helping in any way that I can!
