About Amie
I have just graduated in Psychology with Criminology (awaiting results). This is my first time offering my support and advice in these areas and I am excited to begin this journey.
The areas I can offer my knowledge in is, psychology (social & developmental), research methods & statistics, theories/theorists, prison & probation services, psychology of criminal behaviours, sexual and violent crimes (theories, reasons and stats behind this) and support with academic writing, proof reading, structure, advice and many other things you may need support in to bring out the best in you and your education.
I have had work experience in a care setting (during 1st lockdown) where I worked with elderly and vulnerable adults and about to start a job in a mental health hospital for 12-18 year olds in crisis.

My teaching method is focused around YOU and that we go at your pace, we talk about what YOU want to talk about and I teach/support you with what YOU want to learn and need support with. I base my lessons around YOU and your needs from me as your tutor.
I feel I am an approachable, bubbly, caring person, who is patient and understands everyone has different paces and understandings of topics.
Topics within these areas can be sensitive and tough, yet interesting so I am understanding that it can be a difficult for some people.
