About Courtney

I’m Courtney. I loved English when I was younger, all through school I was lost in my writing lessons. Reading outside of school was a massive help for my reasoning behind this but I love getting pulled into a good book. I’m studying English education at university so have a good idea of teaching skills and how to apply them.

About the lesson

Personally I have never agreed with the way teachers run their lessons. Our small classes will provide a more direct experience. I value what you think, struggling with spelling, okay that’s tomorrow’s lesson. You’re interested in creative writing? Let’s focus on that develop it and make it excellent. Not a fan or literature, okay that’s understandable, how about we find a way to make it exciting, play a game that helps you remember Shakespeares riddles or find something that interests you that we can include in this. This is about you and what you want to progress in and how you’d like to do it, here if you tell me how we’ll make sure it happens.
