About the lesson

Annabelle has been working as a teacher for several years and has experience of improving student attainment and tutoring one-on-one. She has strong communication and interpersonal skills and is experienced at working with students with additional needs and from disadvantaged backgrounds. She also has effectively worked with students whose first language is not English. She believes that all students, regardless of background and ability, deserve access to quality education and ensures that her students’ needs are tailored to. She also understands the value in a collaborative relationship with parents and carers, and is committed to ongoing communication of each student’s progress and needs. Annabelle is familiar with the AQA and Edexcel history courses, at both GCSE and A Level, and has examined exam papers for these courses. She has perfected efficient and effective methods for revision and exam technique. She has also worked with students at KS3 to improve their outcomes and academic progress over time.
