About David

Hi, my name is David. I now live in Chesterfield, England, but spent over a decade living in Central America and Spain. I began teaching as an English Teacher in Mexico before spending 8 years teaching EFL at language academies and through private tutoring. On returning to the UK, I undertook a PGCE and continued to do the job I love, working as a Primary School teacher. I enjoy travelling, reading, playing football and spending time with my family.

About the lesson

I am a certified EFL teacher with a verified TESOL certificate and over 9 years' experience in teaching English as a foreign language. I also have a PGCE and have been working as a Primary School Teacher for the past 6 years. I believe in using varied teaching techniques and a range of resources to offer high-quality teaching to all ages. I have experience in teaching pupils from as young as 5 and adults of all ages. Learning is always easier and more productive when lessons are engaging and fun, and all lessons are tailored to the age and interests of pupils. Lessons typically last 1 hour, but this can be altered to suit the needs and availability of my students.
