About Sarah
I am a fully qualified English Teacher with a degree in English Language and Literature (with Linguistics)and a full teaching qualification (The Diploma in Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector (DTLLS)).
My teaching qualification specifically qualifies me to teach in Further and Adult Education. Despite Adult Education being my specialist area and where I hold most of my experience, I have worked as a Supply teacher for a main-stream secondary school on an as-and-when basis since 2013.

My teaching method when giving students extra support in their studies is that I discuss the specific support that the students would like with them. Then I find background information that I believe will help the students to build on their subject knowledge. I will then find or create activities that will help the student to improve in the area that they want help with. I try to use interesting and interactive activities and tasks with my students and I give them feedback on any work that they complete.
