About Glory
I offer serious, caring, and personalized support, tailored to each student's level and pace. My name is Glory, and I hold a Swiss Federal Certificate of Competence (CFC) as a social and educational assistant, as well as a vocational baccalaureate in health and social services. I also have three years of experience working with children, particularly in early childhood and after-school programs. My teaching method is based primarily on listening, patience, and adapting to each student's needs. I take the time to identify both the child's difficulties and strengths in order to offer personalized support. My goal is to make learning easier and allow students to progress at their own pace. A lesson typically begins with a brief discussion to review what has been covered in class and identify any concepts that are causing difficulty. We then work on exercises, homework, or concepts that need reinforcement, with explanations tailored to the student's level. I favor an interactive approach: I aim to encourage students to think critically rather than simply providing answers. We conclude with a short review to ensure that the concepts are understood. I primarily offer homework help as well as support in natural and social sciences. My lessons are particularly suited to children and students in compulsory education, with special attention to those who need guidance with organization, understanding instructions, or study methods. Thanks to my experience in after-school programs and early childhood education, I am accustomed to working with children of diverse profiles and needs. I aim to create an environment where students feel confident, can freely ask questions, and regain confidence in their abilities.
