About Marie
I have recently graduated from Lancaster University with a 2:1 in English Literature. Currently, I am planning to obtain a PGCE, with my overall aim being to become a teacher. I have spent 10 weeks this year working within a Year 1 classroom, developing transferable teaching skills, and delivering lessons to small groups, promoting English language/literature skills.

I base my classes on ensuring students learn to use language and vocabulary, and engage with the text, so overall, they come to enjoy reading. I approach each topic based upon student response, and how they learn best. This involves being patient and a good listener, adapting the content, and teaching plan so to engage with the student’s own personal experiences.
